All-Metal Locknuts are used in areas where the operating temperature is too high for Nylon-Insert Locknuts. These types of locknuts utilize a section of distorted thread or a pin to prevent loosening during vibration or the rotating of the clamped item. All-metal locknuts are commonly used in construction, oil and gas, refining, and petrochemical industries.
